Thomas is a 10 year-old fifth grader. He is 4'6" tall and weighs 150 lbs. His school offers gym class twice a week for 40 minutes and he is not active in any sports. He like to read books, listens to music on his Xbox and paints. He doesn't have a lot of friends outside of school and he is an only child. His parents both work opposite shifts. His mothers prepares a home cooked meal 1-2 times a week and offers fast foods the rest of the days. Thomas snacks on potato chips, cookies and drinks a lot of kool-aid. His favorite food is macaroni and cheese and pizza. Thomas states that he dislikes vegetables and only likes to eat an apple on occasion.

He had a physical two days ago and his primary physician made some suggestions to improve Thomas' overall health and physical appearance in hopes of encouraging him to lose weight.
